Dr. Brandon Bernstein is a musician, educator, entrepreneur, and social activist. His debut record, But Beautiful, reached #7 on the national jazz radio charts.
He has performed extensively across Southern California, Montreal, New York, and Kentucky — sharing stages with Arturo Sandoval, Wynton & Delfeayo Marsalis, Ambrose Akinmusire, Larry Koonse, and Ben Monder — and holds a Doctorate of Music from USC.
In 2003 he co-authored a book of Kurt Rosenwinkel transcriptions for Mel Bay Publishing. In 2015 he founded the social enterprise Music Lifeboat to bring high-quality music education to underserved communities.
